Packing the House

July 2011

Our friends, the Marleys, manage an apartment complex and let us know of an opening to manage a small apartment community in Tigard. We thought it would be nice to save rent money and save up for a house someday. We interviewed for the position and got offered the job 2 hours later! Then we had to start packing up everything. It's crazy how much stuff we've accumulated over 3 years. The boys thought it was great fun helping pack up boxes and then have stacks of boxes to hide behind and climb on.

Ammon's Baptism

Another reason for the reunion was to celebrate Ammon's Baptism. Here are Marianne, Ammon and Wesley.

Spokane Temple

July 2011

One of our main reasons for all getting together was to be with Joanna as she went through the Temple for her endowment.

Grandchildren

July 2011

It was nice to have all the grandchildren together. Here are Grandma and Grandpa with the Schulls.

I think Joanna, Valerie and Liz were doing a silly song and dance.

Swimming and Fireworks

July 2011

We all visited a local water park in Moscow. The kids had a lot of fun swimming. Hobbes really had fun. He loved going down little water slides and dog paddling all around the pools.

To celebrate Independence Day the kids had a parade and then had a firework show.

Desmond wasn't too interested when he couldn't touch the bright and sparkly part.

Fun in Moscow

July 2011 - We had a mini-Snyder family reunion at the Kunzlers in Moscow, ID. Everyone was able to make it except for Jonathan, Margaret and Kent. We had so much fun hanging out and playing.

All the older boys spent most of their time playing Star Wars Epic Duels with Brendan. They would play for hours each day.

Arch

The Schulls came to visit and we met them at OMSI with some of the Kunzler cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Snyder. Grandpa's height came in handy while building this arch. It stood up all by itself just long enough to snap a picture.
